Reunion Coffee Roasters (RCR) is a Canadian, family-owned specialty coffee roaster. We provide customers around the world with exceptional tasting coffees, including Organic, Fair Trade, Direct Trade and Rainforest Alliance certified varieties. Headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, RCR operates out of one of Canada’s largest renewable energy-powered roasting facilities through our relationship with Bullfrog Power.
We are a Certified B Corporation and have made it our mission to use coffee as a force for good in the world. To do this, we maintain long-standing partnerships with producers and farmers who share this commitment, and who apply stringent and transparent processes to how they grow and harvest ethical coffee.
Leadership
Adam Pesce, is the President of Reunion Coffee Roasters. With over a decade of experience in the specialty coffee industry, Adam is responsible for leading the company's sustainability programs and initiatives.
He travels frequently to origin countries around the world and contributes his expertise in the areas of sustainable and ethical agriculture and business. Adam volunteers his time with organizations including the Specialty Coffee Association's Canadian Chapter, Grounds for Health and the Covenant House.
Specialty Coffee
As a speciality coffee roaster, we are constantly seeking out new partners at origin to improve the quality of our coffees, while at the same time strengthening the sustainability of our supply chain.
Our relationships in the specialty coffee community are key contributors to our long-history of success, as is our commitment to quality at every step of the way - not just in the coffee we purchase, but in the care we take in roasting and packaging it.
We are members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and the Coffee Association of Canada, of which Peter is a past chairman. Both Peter and Adam Pesce, our President, have been board members and treasurers as well. Adam is also a long-standing member of the SCA's Sustainability Council and a founder of the Canadian Chapter of the SCA, acting as its membership coordinator.
Legacy
For more than four decades, the Pesce family has played a key role in the advancement of the Canadian specialty coffee market. Our founder, Peter, is known within the coffee industry as a strong leader and advocate for quality and innovation. Consumers recognize him from national television appearances and print media interviews that have called him "reputedly the best 'cupper' in Canada" (Toronto Star).

Peter's focus on quality has always been a guiding light for Reunion, but over the years we have developed an equal focus on the idea that our business can be driven by sustainability as well.

B-Corp helps us to hold ourselves accountable and be transparent about our social and environmental impacts. Bi-annual re-certification helps drive our continuous improvement and makes sure we're always doing what we can to not only be the best in the world, but the best for the world.
